While on your homeschool journey, I can not stress enough about finding a curriculum you know your children will love. I would spend hours scouring the internet and looking at samples of books and workbooks because I knew how picky my sons were. It had to be colorful, not look old, and be exciting. I came up with a few choices for you in case you are also on this quest for your homeschoolers.

1. Alpha Omega LIFEPAC- This curriculum offers a workbook approach with ten workbooks for each subject for the year. Each LIFEPAC takes about 3-4 weeks to complete, depending on how quickly your child can finish it. It also has a teacher's manual available so you can grade everything. I also tried their computer version Monarch, but my children were not fans of this. They felt it looked old and boring. This workbook approach was easy to travel with. They can do their work on the go, in the car, or wherever you are. Their website is www.aop.com.

2. Math-U-See is the curriculum we used for math when we reached the middle school year and higher maths. I really liked their teaching approach. There is a video to watch to teach you how to work out the problems in your workbook. You can purchase a teacher's manual with the answers. They also have manipulatives you can purchase that help you visualize the problem. This course really caters to those who need extra help with math. Both sons found this curriculum to be very helpful. https://mathusee.com/

3. Notgrass History- We purchased the America the Beautiful Bundle for middle school. It came with so many books. There were literature books, a map workbook, an answer key, The America the Beautiful books 1 & 2, We the People book, Timeline, and more in the bundle. It’s so versatile you can use it as your history, geography, literature, and language class all in one. I think that was by far our favorite. My affiliate link is below.

4. For the high school years, we utilized Florida Virtual School. Most states have a free virtual school that you can take advantage of. In Florida, we had a homeschool option for a virtual school separate from the brick-and-mortar school but still considered homeschooling. It saved us hundreds of dollars that we would have to spend buying curriculum.

Whatever your decision may be, be led by the Holy Spirit for his plan for your child's life. God knows everyone's perfect course for their lives. Seek him in prayer and ask him to show you what to do, then step out in faith and watch him do wonders.
